A public sector organization based in Belfast is seeking a Programme Manager to oversee the administration and monitoring of EU programmes. This role involves working within the Managing Authority, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing key relationships with intermediaries. Ideal candidates will have experience in programme management and strong communication skills. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to significant community engagement projects.
The Programme Manager - Managing Authority will ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective service in the administration, monitoring and evaluation of EU programmes to ensure full compliance with EU Regulations, output and expenditure targets are achieved, and the orderly implementation of the programmes. The role will be based in the core team within the Managing Authority and will work within the overall PEACEPLUS Governance, providing assistance to the Senior Manager Team on Core MA tasks, including Fraud, State Aid, Programme Monitoring, Lead Partner Training, contract management and EU reporting requirements. This role will also manage the implementation of two small grant Investment Areas: 1.2 and 6.2 of the PEACEPLUS Programme, the relationship between Pobal (an intermediary body, which will deliver the Investment Areas), and SEUPB. It will also assist in the direction of engagement with local communities in the delivery of the Change Maker Grants Programmes.
