A collaborative project team in the UK seeks a Mid-Senior level Programme Manager to oversee key wastewater projects. You will manage site-based activities and lead the CMDP wastewater team, driving project delivery and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have significant contract delivery experience, strong leadership skills, and a degree in Civil Engineering. CMDP (a Joint Venture between Costain and MWHT) has been appointed by Southern Water Services (SWS) as a strategic delivery partner for the AMP8 period. This is an exciting time to join the team as CMDP will play a pivotal role alongside other partners in realising SWS’s ambitious transformation goals that feature in its business plan for 2025‑30, and beyond. We're looking for someone who is a team player with the ability to lead and motivate. You'll need to demonstrate a real passion for construction and project delivery and be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships and able to influence at all levels. Experienced in managing project managers and teams, your leadership skills will be the key to success in this role. You’ll be both quality and customer focused whilst still able to operate commercially.

CMDP is a joint venture between Costain and MWHT and delivers a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & Sussex).
