A leading pharmaceutical company in the Hertfordshire area is seeking a Production Technician to execute manufacturing activities for product development projects. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and proven experience in a GMP facility, supporting both new and existing products while ensuring high-quality standards. The role involves operating Pilot Plant equipment, adhering to batch sheet instructions, and involvement in product scale-up and technical transfers.
We are currently looking for a Production Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Production Technician, you will be responsible for executing manufacturing activities in support of product development projects. You will support new products and existing product development within the Research & Development department by working to manufacture products within a safe GMP environment.
Your duties as the Production Technician will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Set up, run, and operate Oral solid dose Pilot Plant equipment and support problem‑solving activities to resolve equipment/product quality issues that arise.
2. Execute batch sheet instructions and record their completion to GMP standards.
3. Support the scale‑up, production, and technical transfer of pharmaceutical products.
4. Support installation, validation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment as required.
To be successful in your application to this role, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in chemical processing, pharmaceutical science, or related discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in working within a GMP facility.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with high‑paced environments and multi‑disciplinary scientific teams.
