A leading production company in Manchester is seeking a Production Secretary to ensure seamless operations for a production. You will manage schedules, communication, and logistics for the crew and cast. Candidates should have prior experience as a Production Secretary or similar role, possess excellent organisational skills, and work effectively under pressure. This position values communication and discretion, and it requires a friendly and adaptable team player.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 months previous Production Secretary experience or six months Runner/AD work.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills are required.
  • Confident in organising and booking taxis and travel for cast and crew.

Responsibilities

Workplace: Manchester – expectation is 4 days in the office.

The role

Ever dreamed of keeping the nation’s favourite street running like clockwork? From scripts to schedules and everything in between, you’ll be the glue that holds the cobbles together—ensuring our cast, crew, and production never miss a beat!

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
  • Minimum 3 months previous Production Secretary experience and/or six months Runner/AD work on a continuing drama or HE drama is required for this role
  • Excellent time keeping, attention to detail, organisational and administrative skills and experience.
  • Be able to prioritise, work to deadlines and be flexible – this role is office based in Manchester.
  • First-rate communication skills – dealing with people at all levels
  • Work with discretion and respect volum requirement for utmost confidentiality
  • Confident and vast experience in organising and booking taxis, other travel and hotels for cast and crew.
  • Experience in arranging meetings, booking meeting rooms, organising events, and managing diaries for higher-ups.
  • Have an understanding of roles and processes involved within a continuing drama
  • production.
