Qualifications

  • Experience in production planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities are needed.
  • Proficiency in planning tools and systems is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule workflows for each department based on demands.
  • Provide agency labour forecasts based on supply chain requirements.
  • Attend cross-department stock meetings and collaborate on shift planning.
  • Work with Production Managers to manage shifts and schedules.
  • Optimise production runs to minimise waste and downtime.
  • Investigate and reduce rework in production.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance for inspections and maintenance scheduling.
  • Report on order profiles and production forecasts during meetings.
