We are currently recruiting for a well‑established manufacturing company based in Tipton. This will be a temporary – permanent role for the right candidate. We are looking for a good all‑rounder who has manufacturing and production experience. You will be involved in production team duties, working with part‑assembled and finished products, and must be computer literate as you will be using SAP Systems and data entry using Excel.

Main Duties
  • Inspect and check parts from the production team and press shop
  • Finish parts to end standard on main assembly line
  • Photocopy paperwork and note any defects on parts
  • Undertake hardness testing on parts received
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Update in‑house SAP system
  • Maintain real‑time information on spreadsheets using Excel and Word packages
  • Undertake departmental housekeeping as required and maintain company standards
  • Perform any other duties as and when needed
Qualifications & Experience
  • Current FLT Counterbalance license
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience using computer systems
  • Experience in using SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to be organised, detailed and accurate

This role will work Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, paying £12.21 – £12.40 per hour dependent on experience.
