Trinity College, one of the most prestigious colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join its Works Department. About the Role

As Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement activities across maintenance and construction services, ensuring value for money, compliance with relevant procurement regulations, and alignment with the College’s strategic goals. You will play a key role in supporting operational services and investment projects, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

This role will be part of the senior management team within Works headed by the Director of Works. The role will work closely with our project management team, our heads of hard and soft facilities services, trade supervisors and the business management team. Close liaison with the supervisors will be essential, supporting the wide range of services to the whole college community.

You will need proven experience in procurement within construction or maintenance, knowledge of UK procurement regulations and frameworks, together with excellent negotiation skills, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Trinity College, Cambridge is the largest of the 31 Cambridge Colleges and contains a substantial and intensively used group of buildings of considerable architectural distinction constructed over a period spanning some 600 years. The buildings house the living accommodations of students and Fellows, together with dining, recreational, studying and support facilities.
