This role requires a confident professional who can operate effectively within a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the procurement of subcontractors, specialist trades, construction services, and professional consultants across the programme
  • Manage end‑to‑end tendering processes, including prequalification, evaluation, contract award, and onboarding
  • Ensure procurement activity complies with public‑sector procurement regulations and partnership governance requirements
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and delivery leads to forecast requirements and align procurement strategies with programme delivery
  • Lead contract negotiations and support the management of subcontractor performance, risk, and contract variations
  • Maintain robust procurement documentation, reporting, and audit trails
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering, innovation, sustainability, and effective cost management
  • Support agile decision‑making and rapid procurement responses within a live infrastructure delivery environment

  • Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
