Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturer in Grangemouth is seeking a Chartered Chemical Engineer to provide comprehensive support to asset operations. The successful candidate will monitor and improve operational efficiency, lead safety assessments, and manage project implementations. With a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance, this role offers a competitive salary and benefits, including a discretionary bonus scheme. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil and gas or chemical industry is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas or chemical industry operations.
  • Wide-ranging experience ideally covering projects, design, and manufacturing.
  • Proficient in risk assessment and management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operations, identify and implement improvements.
  • Develop and maintain asset process documentation.
  • Provide chemical engineering input to risk assessments.

Skills

Chartered Chemical Engineer
Excellent communication skills
Strong SHE and process safety leadership
Process Engineering support experience
Knowledge of risk assessment processes
Strong knowledge of management of change processes

Education

Chartered status or working towards
