Join to apply for the Process Design Engineer role at RSE.

We are expanding our in-house design team and are looking for a Process Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing process design input while formulating and developing designs for clients.

Responsibilities

• Initial project scoping visit and preparation of project scope reports.
• Process calculations and process unit sizing.
• Preparation of P&IDs and PFDs.
• Preparation of Process Control Philosophies.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop full solutions.
• Participate in design meetings, including HAZOPs.
• Potentially act as Design Lead for a limited number of projects.
• Specify temporary treatment requirements to ensure no consent breaches during construction activities.
• Contribute to commissioning plans.
• Troubleshoot operational issues.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in process engineering or a similar industry environment.
• Process design engineering experience within municipal water/wastewater is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary design team.
• Experience through all design stages, from optioneering/FEED to construction support and As-Built.
• Plant commissioning and/or plant operation experience is preferable.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer with a relevant professional body is preferable.
• Ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
