A leading engineering firm in the UK seeks a Principal/Senior HV Plant Design Engineer to support substation design projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and proven experience in HV Substation design. Principal/Senior or Experienced HV Plant Design Engineer (Substation Design) for Stantec. This role supports FEED design and detailed design for substation refurbishment/extensions and new-build projects within the Energy team. Projects may include HVDC, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, geotechnical solutions, building design, protection systems, LVAC, FEED, new builds, refurbishment works, connections schemes, and related power system components. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams and key T&D clients in the UK to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. This is part of Stantec’s UK Energy Transition efforts and offers opportunities for growth and development within the team.
