Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will need to undergo BPSS checks.

The opportunity
You will provide independent visibility and assurance that manufacturing and related processes are applied across all projects. You will support and advise on all aspects of quality within UK Manufacturing, identify sustainable improvements, manage SAP non‑conformances, analyse defect data and implement corrective actions, and assist with SAP as the non‑conformance management tool.
Responsibilities
- Support and advise on all aspects of quality within Manufacturing UK.
- Provide quality assurance assistance and develop training.
- Support programmes to achieve cost, time and quality targets.
- Improve processes within the Company Business Management System for Manufacturing UK.
- Conduct independent assessments and audits, report outcomes, and monitor improvements.
- Maintain links with QA colleagues across MBDA.
- Define risk reduction strategies and action plans.
- Facilitate or support Non‑Conformance Review Panels.
- Analyse defect data, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.

What we’re looking for from you
- Minimum HNC/HND in a relevant subject.
- Quality professional with process‑based integrated management systems experience.
- Experience with risk management and practical problem‑solving tools (8D, 5Y, PFMEA, etc.).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Quality auditing experience.
- Knowledge of international standards (EN9100/AS9100, AS9102, AS9145, AS9146, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills; ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Capability to identify sustainable business improvements and ensure implementation.
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
- Highly self‑motivated with determination to deliver results.
- Understand regulatory and certification requirements.
Position is based in Stevenage but will require regular support to Manufacturing sites, including Stevenage and Bolton. Travel (UK and international) will be required.
