A regional healthcare trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Clinical Psychologist to join their Mental Health Team. The ideal candidate will provide psychological assessments and therapy for children and young people within the All Age Learning Disability Service. The team values creativity and person-centered approaches and encourages professional development alongside flexible working patterns. Opportunities for growth and support from colleagues are ample, making this a rewarding position for driven candidates.
The Mental Health Team based in the Bay network within LSCFT are one of our local MDTs and are currently looking for someone to join them! They are a caring and supportive team of professionals who pride themselves in being creative and innovative, being driven to offer a service which is genuinely person centred. By this, I mean they are a team which is led by the individuals whom they support.
There is careful consideration of the young person's needs, and those of their family, and how they as a team can meet these preferences. They are continually learning together and finding innovative ways of working to meet these needs. They are passionate in being part of an All-Age Service, which is fairly unique across England, and for this reason they have regular locality development sessions, and each team member has a vital role in sharing knowledge and skills.
In reading this advert, this role may be of interest to you. The advert is currently funded at a Principal Clinical Psychologist grade, so if you have the experience, then great! There are plenty of opportunities to grow the role, pursue your own clinical interests, and gain support from colleagues both within your locality MDT and the wider psychological team. If not yet, then please do not be put off considering this role. We would still encourage you to contact us and explore if this opportunity is right for you.
