Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Technician to take on a senior leadership role within our technical team. You will oversee multiple high-profile civil and structural projects and play a vital role in shaping quality, client engagement, and commercial success.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading technical assurance and mentoring across the business
2. Managing the drawing production process across multiple projects
3. Supporting and upholding the firm’s ISO 9001 and ISO 19650 systems
4. Representing Matrix in external stakeholder meetings, regulatory discussions, and industry forums
5. Managing risk and internal compliance procedures
6. Ensuring the commercial viability and profitability of the projects you oversee
7. Building and maintaining client relationships to secure repeat and new business
8. Collaborating with directors to help shape the strategic direction of the practice
