A healthcare provider in Basingstoke is seeking a leader for the CRM and Cath lab physiology team. Responsibilities include ensuring delivery of cardiology services and leading a team through growth phases. The role offers opportunities for BSE accreditation and developing new cardiac facilities. To lead the CRM and Cath lab physiology team, contributing positively to the leadership of the whole Cardiac Physiology team, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe delivery of CRM and Cardiac Cath Lab services including implants and follow-up. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of cardiology investigations performed throughout the trust. The department is undergoing rapid growth and transformation in the next few years and is ready to further develop. Workforce planning initiatives have identified staff training and development needs which dovetail into the Cardiology 5 year plan.
The Cardiology department consists of inpatient, outpatient and community services and provides 24/7 primary PCI with a Cath Lab on the Basingstoke site.
Recent experience in management of RTT and diagnostic wait targets.
