• Plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual students for all core subjects.
• Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports
• Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn
• Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
• At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
• QTS/QTLS is advantageous

We are currently looking for a passionate, creative, and pro‑active Speech and Language Therapist to work within Somerset Progressive School. This is a flexible position working closely with our school community.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a continually developing organisation as part of a friendly, professional, and supportive multi‑disciplinary team. Please note this role will involve working at two different sites, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle will be essential.
