About the Company

As part of their continued expansion, they are launching a new Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) into the UK market. This presents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to play a pivotal role in the rollout and long-term growth of this offering.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the ground up in the launch of a new MPS solution. Initially, you will support the strategic rollout, working closely with key stakeholders to shape the proposition and go-to-market strategy. Once launched, you will be responsible for promoting the MPS to financial advisers located in Scotland

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the strategic launch and positioning of the new MPS solution.
  • Identify and engage with financial advisers to introduce the proposition.
  • Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy to generate new assets under management (AUM).
  • Deliver presentations, webinars, and face-to-face meetings to educate and engage potential clients.
  • Work closely with investment teams, marketing and product specialists to refine and enhance the MPS offering.
  • Gather feedback from advisers to ensure continued refinement and market alignment of the MPS.

  • A proven track record in business development within the MPS or platform space.

  • Deep understanding of the investment landscape, MPS solutions and intermediary sales process.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to drive a new proposition to market and build a strong pipeline.
