A UK-based charity is seeking a PR and Marketing Lead to shape and lead a strategic program that enhances brand visibility and drives income generation. Candidates should have at least 3 years' experience in strategic PR, content creation, and media relations. The role is full-time at the Head Office in Horley, requiring a minimum of 3 office days per week. This impactful position offers an opportunity to engage and elevate support for greyhounds in need.
Join Greyhound Trust at a pivotal moment and lead a brand-new role that will shape how we share our story, grow our audience, and inspire lasting support for the greyhounds who need us most.
We’re forming a new Income Generation and Engagement Team, and this role is key to driving our next chapter. Reporting to the Head of Income Generation and Engagement, you’ll have the freedom to review our current approach and build a fresh, strategic programme of PR and marketing that reflects our mission, values, and ambitions.
For over 50 years, Greyhound Trust has helped retired greyhounds find loving homes. As the landscape evolves, we need to elevate our voice — raising awareness of the growing homing challenge, engaging new audiences, and supporting essential income generation. This role will be central to that shift.
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience delivering both strategic and hands‑on PR and marketing. You’ll bring strong skills in content creation, digital engagement, media relations, brand development, and leading major events such as Crufts and our Great Greyhound Gathering.
You’ll understand how effective PR and marketing can protect and enhance a charity’s brand while supporting fundraising and engagement goals, and you’ll be confident balancing these priorities in a collaborative team.
Ready to make a meaningful impact? Apply now and help shape the future of Greyhound Trust.
The role is full time, located at our Head Office in Horley (minimum 3 days a week at the office), with occasional travel to branches across the UK.
