Overview

Anterior Siguiente Postdoctoral Position in Organic Synthesis and Biocatalysis – Mateo Sanchez Lab. The Mateo Sanchez Lab at the University of Cambridge is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join their team starting in fall or winter 2025. They are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in organic chemistry, asymmetric synthesis, organometallic chemistry, and photochemistry. The position is supported by private funding and offered as a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. The research will focus on the discovery and development of new chemical reactions catalyzed by enzymes. A key goal of the project is to engineer enzymes to expand their reactivity and unlock new-to-nature transformations.
