# Portfolio Lead## Job Introduction**What you’ll do**As a Portfolio Lead, you’ll take the lead in managing and growing our Temporary Housing portfolio, ensuring residents have access to safe, high-quality homes. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you’ll oversee lease renewals, negotiate contracts, and drive improvements to property standards. You’ll also lead a team to deliver legal services that protect income and support tenancy sustainment, while building strong relationships with landlords and local authorities.**How you’ll do it*** Lead and motivate your team to deliver a high-quality, compliant portfolio of homes.* Secure lease renewals, improve property standards, and remove unsuitable properties from the portfolio.* Procure new properties and proactively seek opportunities with reputable landlords.* Oversee legal services, ensuring swift action on arrears and compliance with agreements.* Negotiate commercial arrangements to maximise income and protect the business.* Monitor portfolio performance, budgets, and team activity, adjusting focus to maintain stability.* Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and local authorities.* Horizon scan for risks and opportunities, keeping abreast of policy changes that impact the portfolio.**The ideal candidate**We believe great service starts with great people, and we are committed to recruiting and developing passionate, enthusiastic, and talented individuals who can add value to our thriving organisation.Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence.
