Job description

We are looking for a Podiatrist to join our friendly team on the Isle of Wight.

You will work as part of a team to provide high quality podiatric care, to maintain mobility, tissue viability, independence and relieve discomfort to our patients.

Provide the highest quality of podiatric care to patients with a variety of care needs, both in the acute and community settings.

Be responsible for a caseload providing diagnosis and clinical treatments to patients, to maintain mobility, independence, tissue viability and to relieve discomfort.

The post holder will also be required to work with other podiatrists and student podiatrists; and to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and act as a source of advice for patients, carers, GP's and other healthcare professionals. A Senior Podiatrist or above, will be available to provide advice and assistance.

The post holder will be required to have an input in to health education and health promotion, participating in training sessions.

The post holder will be expected to be an effective part of the Podiatry team, adhering to Podiatry Department and Trust policies, strategies and objectives, and actively contributing to their development

Candidates must be prepared to work for periods of time in restricted positions throughout the day, in order to deliver clinical care.
