Wood is recruiting a PM Preparation Program Coordinator to support our client’s Operations and Maintenance team on a fixed‑term contract basis.

Hybrid working – 3 days working from Aberdeen.

The Role

You will coordinate the completion of the PM preparation phase (approximately one‑third remaining) and undertake the full scheduling phase of the fully prepared PM Program. The role involves coordinating and completing the work, while interfacing with the assets to gain support and input for the finished deliverable. There may also be opportunities to contribute to Maintenance and Planning stability improvements as part of broader efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Complete the work preparation elements of all remaining preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring all PMs are fully prepared with required materials and resources to execute each task.
  • Review and implement the scheduling elements of all PMs, liaising with key asset operations personnel, and ensuring PMs are efficiently packaged/grouped, align with an optimized Integrated Activity Plan, and smoothed in line with facility execution capacity and strategy.
  • Liaise with supply chain to determine material lead times for all PMs and identify work order calling period with materials.
  • Collaborate with CMMS engineer to implement all work preparation and scheduling updates into SAP.
  • Provide support to develop and implement a sustainability plan to ensure all PMs remain fully prepared at all times, including performance monitoring.
  • Assist with maintenance planning stability improvement initiatives.

Expected
  • Technical professional with operational experience in the E&P business.
  • Operational experience scheduling maintenance resources, preferably including all functions that create executable work activities.
  • Experience of planning discipline practices (estimating, uncertainty, etc.).
  • Awareness of a CMMS, preferable SAP.
  • Experience of management and meetings.
  • Familiarity with the target environment (operational, cultural and geographical).
  • Experienced team player capable of multi‑tasking and managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Effective organisational skills, time management and interpersonal skills – a must.
  • Proficiency in common software packages including MS Word, Excel, and a CMMS.
  • Willingness to build expertise in CMMS and scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and maintenance planning fundamentals.
  • Ability to develop and foster positive working relationships with maintenance team members, asset leadership and all asset‑based personnel.
