A leading training provider based in Southampton is seeking an experienced Plumbing Tutor for a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will teach theoretical and practical subjects, assess coursework, and ensure apprentices' welfare and safety. Candidates should possess an Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing and relevant teaching qualifications. The role offers a competitive salary up to £43,500 based on skills and experience, along with excellent benefits including generous leave and a pension scheme.
Working pattern: Full time & permanent. Normal w orking hours are 35 per week, excluding 1-hour main meal break.

To ensure that we deliver high quality teaching and learning at our JTL Training Centre in Preston in all aspects of the PMES related theoretical and practical syllabus for City and Guilds at Level 3.
As a qualified Plumber and experienced tutor, you know what it takes to complete plumbing work to exceptional standards of safety and quality. You have the right technical abilities. You are up to date with the most recent technology, and just as importantly, you combine real attention to detail with the ability to think logically and solve complex problems on your feet.
You will be responsible for developing material to support the required course. This is an exciting new opportunity where we will want you to help promote the activities of the centre including maintaining relationships with external parties, assisting with industry events, and keeping abreast of developments in your field of expertise. You will be responsible for the welfare and safety of apprentices at all times.
Good IT skills are a must for this role, and with your good administrative and organisational skills, and you will quickly establish yourself as an invaluable member of our team.
