Job summary

A leading environmental compliance company in the UK is seeking an experienced Plumber for a full-time position. You will perform maintenance on plumbing systems, conduct water sampling, and respond to maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates will have a City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing and prior experience in commercial plumbing. A Full UK Driving License is essential. A competitive salary up to £38,000 and company benefits offered.

Qualifications

You’ll get 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to up to 25 days with years of service.

What you'll be doing

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As a Plumber, you will ensure our clients' facilities remain safe and compliant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems to a high standard.
  • Undertaking tank replacements and plumbing repairs in various commercial and domestic environments.
  • Conducting water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • Responding to reactive maintenance tasks, diagnosing and resolving issues across commercial plumbing systems.
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing fixtures, TMVs, pipework modification, and removing dead legs.
  • Collaborating with teams, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will need a City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) and ideally G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification. You should have proven experience in commercial plumbing and routine water hygiene tasks. Experience with building services, facilities management, or environmental consultancy is also a bonus.

A Full UK Driving License Is Essential.
