A leading energy company is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to shape modern cloud solutions that enhance operations within the nuclear sector. Working in our Nuclear IT Services team, you’ll help deliver the capabilities supporting the transition towards An Electric Britain. You’ll build trusted cloud services that support critical operations and make a meaningful contribution every day.

This role can be based anywhere across our fleet, working to a hybrid model, giving you the flexibility to balance time at home with time on site when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deploying, managing and enhancing Azure services
• Building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Administration of Windows and Linux systems in Azure
• Supporting automation through PowerShell, Azure CLI and related tools

Who You Are

• As a minimum, you must hold HNC or above in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.

Pay, Benefits and Culture

We are offering a starting salary of between £45,641 and £81,263, with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary for the appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.
