A digital solutions agency is seeking a Platform Architect to take ownership of technical tasks across client projects. This full-time, remote role requires expertise in no-code tools, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small team environment, demonstrate great communication, and ensure high-quality deliverables while tracking their work efficiently. Join us and help make business processes more efficient and enjoyable.
Farsight Digital Solutions is a digital solutions agency with a consultative approach. Our passion is making internal business processes efficient, automated and a pleasure to use. We help our clients make more, stress less, develop and grow.
We offer consulting services (process mapping, digital tool research), software implementation and configuration, and technical build services in automation, AI and no-code platforms. We also build websites and provide technical support to clients to help them get the most out of the software tools that they use to run their businesses.
The result of everything we do is that work is better for people, which we believe makes the world a better place.
We have clear values that we work to: Integrity, Rigour, Imagination and Authenticity.
We are a rapidly growing small company based in Scotland and our team is fully remote, with people in places such as Inverness, Glasgow, and London as well as team, partners and clients across the globe. We embrace remote culture and are always seeking to make working in a remote team a brilliant experience for everyone which maximises the advantages and minimises the disadvantages. As part of that, we get together in person a few times a year to build team relationships and work together.
Farsight draws inspiration from the Netflix “freedom and responsibility” ethos. We are building a team of “rare responsible people” who “thrive on freedom, and are worthy of freedom” because “high performance people inhibit chaos.”
We are seeking a UK-based individual with the right to work in the UK, willing to travel for team gatherings. You’re an experienced no-code nerd with a passion for new no-code and low-code technologies, who thrives in small teams and enjoys solving meaningful problems. You take full ownership of your work and bring a mindset of continuous improvement to everything you build.
You are:
🧠 A smart problem-solver with a love for clean, scalable solutions
⌛ Reliable with your time, delivering on time and flagging issues early
🛠️ Skilled in no-code development and automation tools (e.g. WeWeb, Xano, Airtable, Make, n8n)
📟 Organised and detail-oriented, especially in tracking time and progress
🤝 A strong communicator who collaborates well with technical and non-technical people
🌍 Comfortable working remotely and independently
📈 Always learning and keen to improve
We don’t believe there’s a single “right” background for this role.
You might have a degree in a technical subject, a coding background, or be coming from a different path with relevant hands‑on experience – what matters most is your ability to think logically, lean on your past experience to problem solve, learn quickly, and apply that learning in a practical way.
We care far more about:
Formal qualifications are welcome, but they are not a requirement.
As a Platform Architect at Farsight, you’ll take ownership of technical tasks across a wide variety of client projects, often working on multiple at once. You’ll join fellow high‑performance team members to bring requirements to life through high-quality solutions. We’re looking for someone who thrives on autonomy, takes pride in doing great work, and communicates openly.
📅 On-time delivery of tasks
📣 Proactive, clear communication
🔁 Ability to juggle (typically) two to three projects effectively
🕒 Accurate, consistent time tracking
✅ High quality, maintainable delivery that meets the brief
We’re a remote team, so your place of work is up to you. You can work from home, or from any appropriate location where you can concentrate and maintain high levels of security and confidentiality. You’ll need a good internet connection and a quiet, private space for video calls.
This is a 35‑hour per week, Monday to Friday, full‑time, permanent position. While the role offers flexibility, you’ll need to be consistently available Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm (UK time) and able to respond quickly during those hours.
