Pitch Proposal Producer – Substance Global

Job Overview

At Substance Global, we bring stories to life for some of the world’s most exciting entertainment brands, from major studios and streamers to experiential and gaming clients. As a Pitch Proposal Producer, with film, entertainment or TV experience you’ll be the driving force behind how we produce social‑first stories, and present creative ideas, helping win, shape, and deliver standout campaigns that capture imagination and deliver results.

You’ll play a hands‑on role in building social campaign proposals, pitch decks, and social campaign stories that inspire clients and align seamlessly with Substance’s creative vision. Working closely with our strategy, social, influencer, event and creative teams, you’ll lead the development and coordination of proposals, ensuring every submission tells a clear, compelling story backed by cultural insight, data, and bold creative thinking.

This is a dynamic, fast‑paced role that blends production precision with social storytelling. You’ll bring together ideas, copy, visuals, and structure, crafting decks and presentations that sell big ideas beautifully. You’ll also be on the ground at times, attending screenings, premieres, and events to understand our work first‑hand and feed that energy back into our pitch storytelling.

Duties & Key Responsibilities
Pitch & Proposal Development
  • Produce social campaign proposals and pitch decks for entertainment clients
  • Lead the production of high‑impact proposals, social campaign responses, and pitch decks, managing inputs from strategy, creative, influencer, event, and client teams.
  • Shape and refine storytelling, structure, and narrative flow across all decks to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact.
  • Create compelling, visually engaging presentations that showcase Substance’s work and creative thinking.
  • Support senior leadership and client teams in pitch rehearsals, storyboarding, and delivery preparation.
Creative Storytelling & Campaign Support
  • Help transform campaign ideas into visually cohesive, social‑first story‑driven proposals that resonate emotionally and commercially.
  • Ensure every pitch connects strategy, creative, and audience engagement; from ideation to execution.
  • Work with social and creative teams to visualise social campaign ideas across the lifecycle of a film or TV show
  • Embed Substance’s tone, values, and storytelling approach across proposals and decks.
Project & Production Management
  • Oversee the proposal production process, timelines, task management, and quality control, ensuring all submissions are delivered on time and on brand.
  • Manage input from multiple stakeholders, balancing creative vision with practical deadlines.
  • Coordinate with designers and motion teams to bring visual polish to each deck.
  • Maintain a library of templates, case studies, and reference decks to streamline future pitches.
  • Stay up to date with trends across established and emerging social platforms
  • Identify new trends in storytelling, visual presentation, and proposal production.
  • Support Substance’s new business and marketing efforts, ensuring proposals reflect the agency’s creative evolution.
  • Contribute ideas to elevate how we pitch, sell, and celebrate our work internally and externally.
On‑Site & Experiential Insight
  • Attend events, screenings, and activations to capture authentic social moments.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
  • 4+ years of experience in a pitch, proposals, production, or project management role within a marketing, entertainment, or creative agency.
  • Proven experience creating or producing client proposals, social campaign decks, and presentations.
  • Strong storytelling and structuring ability — turning ideas and insights into visually cohesive, engaging narratives.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, comfortable managing multiple contributors and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Google Slides and familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Attention to detail, strong design sense, and a natural understanding of flow, clarity, and creative presentation.
  • Experience working with creative assets (reels, clips, social cuts) and embedding them in decks.
  • Confidence collaborating with teams across strategy, social, creative, and client services.
  • Experience in film, TV, streaming, or pop culture sectors.
  • A background in social or marketing strategy development.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software or design platforms.
  • Experience contributing to new business development or agency growth.
Who You Are
