Qualifications

• Some experience in mechanical fitting, industrial plumbing, or industrial installations (preferred but not essential).
• Good understanding of hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to work in active environments.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from senior team members.
• CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of compressed air pipework systems.
• Support the fitting and connection of compressors, filters, dryers, and air receivers.
• Measure, cut, and prepare pipework and fittings under supervision.
• Help maintain tools, vehicles, and materials in good working order.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site requirements at all times.
• Work both on-site and occasionally in workshop environments.
• Demonstrate initiative to learn and ask questions.
• Undertake industry health and safety training as required.

We are looking to add a Pipe Fitters Mate to assist the installation team in installing industrial compressed air, nitrogen, and pipework systems on customer sites. You will support experienced pipe fitters, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
