The PharmacyAssistant, Specialty is primarily responsible for disp dispensary duties including prescription entry/processing, picking/packaging and shipping of medications, answering telephone calls, assisting in payment processing, maintaining inventory, and other administrative duties as required to support the pharmacy team. The PharmacyAssistant, Specialty is required to work independently under direction from the Operations or Pharmacy Manager, as well as within a team. All roles will be cross trained as permitted by scope of practice, and the incumbent may be required to help out in other areas of the pharmacy when required.
