  • Receiving and placing orders of medications and supplies.

Purpose:

Pharmacy Assistants work with the Pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Compounding Sterile Preparations in compliance with P&Ps and standards set by the company
  • Calculate and supply clean room staff with ingredients that are required for compounding
  • Label final containers and packs orders for delivery
  • Support pharmacists during the final check
  • Calibrate, monitor, and maintain equipment inside and outside of the clean room
  • Receive and place orders of medications, solutions, and supplies on the shelves and maintain inventory
  • Organize and maintain the work area inside and outside of the clean room.
