Qualifications

• Proven experience in a pharmacy setting as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Registered with GPhC and ideally completed an accuracy checking course.
• Willing to undertake accuracy checking training if not completed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check dispensed medicines and advise on prescriptions.
• Engage with novel dispensing technology.
• Prepare for six-monthly review with the Pharmacist.
• Check the accuracy of dispensed prescriptions.
• Document dispensing errors and learn from them.
