We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Business Tax team. This key role involves managing a portfolio of clients, dealing with their corporation tax compliance and working with them on advisory matters, as well as reviewing compliance work prepared by the team. The preferred candidate will be ATT and CTA qualified, but we are also open to applications from those who are ACA or ACCA qualified and have relevant tax experience. Strong technical tax knowledge, exceptional client communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior colleagues are essential.

In this role, you will work closely with HNWIs, Owner Managed Businesses (OMB), Partnerships and Trusts. With a large majority of your time focusing on providing bespoke advisory projects, identifying new business opportunities, and mentoring and supporting junior members of the team. Candidates must possess a CTA qualification, although other recognised accounting qualifications, such as STEP, ACA, or ACCA, will also be considered, provided they have proven post qualification experience in personal tax advice. They must have strong technical expertise in personal tax advisory, effective project management and team development skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and an ability to build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate commercial awareness to identify business growth opportunities and a commitment to continuous learning to stay up to date with legislative changes.
