Overview

Personal assistant - MAIDSTONE - ME14

Hours: 6 hrs term time; 18 hrs non term time. Salary: £12.41. Location: Maidstone area.

Responsibilities

• Support with behavioural challenges, provide reassurance and prompts around daily routine
• Share interests in outdoor activities, parks, animals, swimming and be open to other suggestions
• Fully support and accompany the individual during outings
• Be strong willed, confident and generally a happy person
• Support and guide when making purchases for food or toys etc

Requirements & Qualities

• Looking for someone who is open to getting to know the individual, understanding, patient, reliable and flexible
• Available to start as soon as possible
• Experience of working as a Personal Assistant is not necessary, but keen learner would be an advantage
• If you are friendly, enthusiastic, motivated, caring and want to support a young person to help build and maintain independence, this is the job for you
• This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer) and references

Additional Details

Hours are flexible but term time would either be a Saturday or Sunday, and non term time can be a mix of weekdays and a weekend day.
