About This Role
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Hours and Basis: 37 hours per week over 52 weeks per year
Grade and SCP: Band 3, SCP (6 - 9) £25,989 - £27,254
Your Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment campaigns, manage job adverts, pre‑employment checks, and issue contracts and offer letters. Maintain the single central record and exit questionnaires.
- Employee Relations Support: Provide initial HR advice, assist with absence management, return‑to‑work meetings, and coordinate occupational health referrals.
- HR Training & Development: Assist in planning and delivering HR training sessions for staff and governors, including booking venues and managing materials.
- Policies & Procedures: Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, management toolkits, and Trust pay and reward policies.
- Performance, Induction & Well‑being: Support induction programmes, performance management monitoring, and well‑being and talent management initiatives.
- Reporting & Compliance: Produce workforce reports, ensure statutory HR returns, maintain GDPR‑compliant employee records, and support safeguarding requirements.
- General Support: Attend meetings, assist senior staff, and perform any other HR duties as required to support the Trust’s objectives.
We Are Looking For a People Services Administrator Who
- Has a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent), including maths and English.
- Has good knowledge of HR procedures, employment law, and HR systems; experience in schools is desirable.
- Has strong communication, ICT, planning, and organisational skills.
- Is adaptable, resilient, attentive to detail, and committed to equality and diversity.
- Understands safeguarding responsibilities and supports the Catholic ethos of our schools.
