Job Overview

The People Ops Enablement Partner, EMEA will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, compliance, and scalable People Operations across key EMEA markets, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

This position will partner closely with People Services, HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, and Finance to ensure seamless People Ops delivery and alignment with global standards while adapting processes for local compliance.

The ideal partner is a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented operator with strong regional HR expertise, a deep understanding of compliance, and a mindset for innovation and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Regional Partnership

  • Own end‑to‑end People Ops delivery for EMEA, ensuring onboarding, offboarding, leave of absence, mobility, benefits, payroll, and compliance are executed accurately, on time, and in line with local regulatory requirements.

  • Serve as the EMEA owner for global People Ops programs, driving consistent execution across the region while determining where localization is required and holding the bar on quality and compliance.

  • Drive alignment across HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, and Finance by setting clear operating expectations, resolving gaps in lifecycle processes, and leading continuous improvements across EMEA workflows.

  • Own Tier 2 and Tier 3 People Ops escalations for EMEA, ensuring issues are resolved with sound judgment, clear documentation, and appropriate risk management.

  • Own performance and outcomes for regional vendors, including immigration, payroll, benefits, and compliance providers, holding them accountable to SLAs, resolving escalations, and driving ongoing service improvement.

Process Design, Knowledge Management & Governance

  • Translate Global Policies: Adapt global policies into region‑specific workflows while ensuring compliance and SLA alignment.

  • Implement Global Programs: Support rollout of global initiatives, automation pilots, and process improvements within the region.

  • Ensure Compliance & Risk Oversight: Conduct periodic reviews to ensure regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and regional coordination.

  • Leverage Data for Improvement: Use insights from tickets and SLAs to identify inefficiencies and recommend automation opportunities.

AI Enablement & Innovation

  • Cultivate an AI‑First Mindset: Experiment with emerging tools to enhance documentation, workflows, and communication.

  • Identify AI Opportunities: Proactively identify areas where AI and automation can simplify processes and improve decision‑making.

  • Collaborate and Experiment: Partner with People Tech and AI teams to test and scale automation pilots.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in People Operations or HR Operations, with hands‑on ownership across multiple EMEA countries.

  • Strong working knowledge of country‑specific employment laws and compliance across key EMEA markets, including the UK, France, Germany, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

  • Strong knowledge of the most common Leave of Absence in EMEA and eligibility criteria

  • Experience operating in fast‑paced, global environments, ideally in tech, high‑growth, or matrixed organizations.

  • Hands‑on experience with HR systems, including Workday, ServiceNow (or similar ticketing tools), and Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a global, matrixed, or shared‑services People Ops model. We are a globally distributed team working remotely first which means we may need to adjust our working patterns to collaborate effectively across timezones.

  • Prior exposure to program or project management and process improvement methodologies.

  • Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or data‑informed process design.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across regions and functions.

  • Sound analytical and decision‑making skills, especially in ambiguous situations.
