About The Role

In this role you will support the front office and external partners with technical knowledge and solutions, influencing financial planning for High Net Worth clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist front office with technical queries (excluding direct client interaction).
  • Work closely with Proposition and Advice Standards to develop creative solutions that meet target client needs.
  • Identify opportunities and risks in legislation, tax planning and regulation related to financial planning for High Net Worth individuals.
  • Develop and deliver presentations externally in conjunction or on behalf of the QC Distribution Team and the Head of Technical.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create content and thought leadership on technical matters to support new business.
  • Partner with others to minimise business risks and maximise planning opportunities, including impacts of tax legislation changes.
  • Collaborate with technical experts within QC and across the Quilter Group to maintain message consistency and leverage group resources.
  • Travel to regional offices and events as required.
Qualifications
  • Professional qualifications – ideally Chartered or equivalent.
  • Good financial planning, tax and trust experience in the UK marketplace for High Net Worth clients.
  • Strong bias towards retirement planning and understanding of pensions legislation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, capable of interpreting and translating complex tax and regulatory legislation.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

Although not a directly customer‑facing role, your duties will contribute to positive outcomes for customers by ensuring planners, distribution teams and investment managers have timely technical information and guidance that supports long‑term, intergenerational planning appropriate for target market clients.
