Overview

Location: Peebles

Salary: Earn up to £24,307.67 per year pro rata. Full time or part time options available.

Full time 37 hours per week; Part time 16 hours per week. Earn up to £24,307.67 per year pro rata.

About the role

The Peebles service provides support to individuals within the town which enables them to live full lives and be involved in the local community. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and promote independence and life skills to our supported people. We are actively involved in activities and groups in Peebles and support a wide range of people with their day to day living. Join our team and help us continue to deliver a high standard of care which allows people to live their lives to the fullest potential. This includes days out to Edinburgh, Galashiels or wherever the supported person wishes to go. Bowling, cinema trips, safari park meals out, swimming, shopping.

Your main duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
  • Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
  • Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.
