Payroll Assistant - Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join a well-established accountancy practice based in Belfast.

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Belfast. They provide a range of Audit, Accounts, Tax, Payroll and Business Advisory services to their extensive customer base across NI & Ireland. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to add a Payroll Assistant to their well established payroll team.

The Role

As the successful Payroll Assistant you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee a portfolio of SME clients;
  • Processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll;
  • Process starters, leavers, sick pay and maternity pay etc;
  • Liaising with HMRC;
  • Process P45s & P60s as required;
  • Other duties as outlined in the full job description.
The Person

The successful Payroll Assistant will meet the following criteria:

  • End to end payroll experience;
  • Experience working with clients and able to handle payroll queries;
  • Open to practice, bureau or industry background;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong IT skills.
