About the Role

We’re looking for a Payments and Card Fraud SME to support one of our clients. This professional will bring expert knowledge in payment systems and fraud prevention and act as a consultant, helping design solutions to reduce and manage fraud in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in payments and card fraud prevention.

• Provide consultancy support and guidance on fraud risk across payment platforms.

• Collaborate with product and technology teams to design fraud prevention solutions.

• Conduct gap analysis and help define target operating models.

• Engage with stakeholders to ensure the proposed solutions meet regulatory and operational needs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fraud SME in financial services.

• Deep knowledge of card payments, payment fraud risks, and industry best practices.

• Experience working with UK financial institutions and compliance frameworks.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Availability to work in a consulting environment and adapt to different teams quickly.
