Drummond & Etheridge is a leading supplier of John Deere equipment throughout the South Island. Through our extensive network of 11 branches, we supply a range of quality brands to the agricultural, construction, forestry, commercial, lifestyle and adventure/recreation sectors. This role will see you:

Engaging with customers in store, over the phone and by e‑mail, bringing your customer focus to the fore of everything you do.

Identifying, promoting and selling a vast range of product solutions for our customers’ needs.

Working closely with our workshop technicians to identify and supply parts required for exceptional aftermarket care.

Staying on top of documentation and record‑keeping, ensuring smooth operation and customer experience.

Pitching in to ensure high health and safety standards and adherence to H&S practices at DNE.

About You:

Apart from being eager to broaden your knowledge and delve into the world of John Deere Agricultural and Construction & Forestry equipment, you’ll also thrive working in a team environment and be flexible to adapt to any situation.

An understanding of agriculture and machinery with a keenness to broaden your technical knowledge as you grow into the role – but, you may also come from another industry such as construction or automotive, with transferrable knowledge to apply.

A passion for exceeding customer expectations.

Experience using IT solutions in daily activity, with an ability to pick up new systems quickly.

A track‑record of going the extra mile when required to meet the demands of the role.

Existing knowledge of the sales process of parts is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is essential.

Technical equipment knowledge &/or experience would be beneficial.

This is a busy and varied role that will cover our customer base across the region, providing a crucial backup to the premium product range we offer our customers.
