Job description

Hybrid working based in Leeds or London.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Provide commercial leadership, analysis, and governance across Green Flag’s B2B partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain the commercial frameworks, pricing structures, and guardrails that enable the New Partner Development team to win, model, and deliver new partnerships effectively.
  • Lead commercial workstreams in bids, propositions, and negotiations, ensuring opportunities are commercially robust and operationally viable.
  • Translate strategic direction from the Head of NPD into practical commercial frameworks, propositions, and pricing structures for new partnerships.
  • Build and maintain pricing models, rate cards, and term sheet templates across pay‑on‑use and insured propositions, ensuring profitability and consistency with commercial guardrails.
  • Own and update the B2B cost matrix underpinning non‑insurance pricing, coordinating with Finance and Operations to reflect internal cost review cycles.
  • Lead the commercial workstream for new partnerships and bids – including business cases, pricing, and deal approvals – ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Lead the commercial delivery of go‑to‑market execution for new partnerships: define value propositions, pricing, and financial objectives; coordinate delivery with the Partnerships Enablement Executive and central Marketing/Comms.
  • Own the commercial guardrails and handover templates that make deals “ready for onboarding”; refresh after reviews and apply exceptions via the approval route only.
  • Produce quarterly commercial and market insight reports, analysing partner performance, cost trends, and competitor movements to inform pricing and future propositions.
  • Support pilot and proof‑of‑concept projects under the direction of the Head of NPD, modelling commercial outcomes and reviewing ROI.
  • Maintain commercial documentation – including playbooks, templates, and pricing annexes – ensuring they remain current and accessible for the NPD team.
What you’ll need:
  • Proven commercial or strategy experience within insurance, financial services, mobility, or related B2B sectors.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with an understanding of unit economics, pricing, and profitability drivers.
  • Experience leading commercial inputs for RFPs and coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to turn strategic direction into executable commercial frameworks and pricing outputs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce executive‑ready documentation.
