Part Time SEN Support Assistant (Fixed term)
Part-Time SEN Support Assistant (Fixed term/Named Child)

Upton Meadows Primary School, part of Northampton Primary Academy Trust, has a vacancy for a part-time SEN Support Assistant to support a child in KS2 from asap in January 2026, who has complex additional needs. The role is based on funding specifically to provide support for this pupil through his/her EHCP. This will be reviewed regularly, particularly if the needs of the child change, and at the end of each academic year. Should the pupil leave, the role will cease at the end of the relevant school term; we will give a minimum of 4 working weeks’ notice. The role will be for two complete days (12.5 hours) a week, term-time only – days to be negotiated.

An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for shortlisted applicants prior to interview and will form part of the interview process. The successful applicant will be expected to have two satisfactory references and undertake a medical questionnaire.
