Driver – Special Needs & Community Transport

Base pay range: £518 – £1,000.00 per month (route dependent)

Hours: 12.5 to 20 per week (varies by route)

Your Role

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
  • Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers and school staff
  • Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
  • Being available for morning and afternoon shifts on school days
What You Need
  • A valid UK driving licence (car category)
  • Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair‑accessible vehicles (training provided)
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
  • Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Eligibility for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks, as the role involves transporting children and adults with special needs
