Job summary

A reputable children's charity in Stockport is seeking a full-time role focused on supporting families and babies with emotional wellbeing and mental health needs. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team providing training and guidance in a hybrid working environment. Excellent communication skills and experience in early years or social care are essential to effectively support parents during challenging transitions. This role promises to nurture positive Parent-Infant relationships and foster growth in a supportive atmosphere.

Job description

You will have a creative approach to working with families and babies, drawing on your experience of working in early years, education or social care to support families and babies with their emotional wellbeing, social and emotional development, and mental health needs. The ideal candidate will grow into this role with a full package of training and support, and guidance from an established Parent-Infant Mental Health team at HOST. You will have excellent communication skills with an ability to speak & listen to a variety of audiences. Your interest in promoting positive Parent-Infant relationships and supporting families will enable you to support parents during transitions and in difficult emotional circumstances with care, sensitivity and attention.
