PARAPROFESSIONAL/EDUCATION LIAISON (Part Time and Full Time)

Invite passionate advocates to join Rite of Passage and improve the lives of youth! We are hiring a Paraprofessional/Education Liaison at Hope Forest Academy in Paisley, Florida.

Our scenic 49‑acre ranch‑style campus provides services and care for at‑risk boys ages 12‑18. Among the natural surroundings are turkeys, deer and wild peacocks, as well as two lakes stocked with fish for both children and staff to enjoy.

What you will do

The paraprofessional works as a staff member of the Education Department team, implementing and adhering to the principles of the Positive Organizational Culture and providing instructional services to students.

To be considered you should
  • Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
  • Establish a teaching rapport with students and collaborate with staff to assist in the delivery of curriculum and implement a team approach to working with students.
  • Have strong knowledge in utilizing computers for required teaching duties.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have related experience working with at‑risk youth.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry check, drug screen, physical exam, and TB test.
Schedule

Full‑time: 5 days on / 2 days off, forty hours per week (Monday‑Friday; schedule may vary or be adjusted due to business demand or unforeseen circumstances). Part‑time: up to 29 hours per week.
