Qualifications

  • Proven experience in painting and prepping motor vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail in using paint mixing schemes and equipment.
  • Ability to ensure safety standards are met during repairs.

Achievable OTE of £75,000

Location: AAR Glasgow, Radial Point, Cardonald Business Park, Glasgow, G51 4GA

About the role

Painting and prepping of Motor vehicles

Key responsibilities
  • Accurately use paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment.
  • Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.
  • Attain manufacturers\' and/or estimated repair/paint times.
  • Report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.
  • Take care of equipment, special tools and personal tools.
Skills and experience
  • ATA / NVQ level 3
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Good Decision Making/Problem solving skills.
  • Good H&S knowledge/awareness.
  • Good Time management skills
  • Relevant industry experience and time served as a repair technician.
