We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and dedicated PA to the Headteacher to join our school team. This important role will ensure that our school remains a vibrant, well‑coordinated and supportive place to work and learn, with the PA playing a central part in keeping everything running seamlessly.
Manchester Islamic Grammar School for Girls is an independent all‑girls 11–16 secondary school located in the Fielden Campus, West Didsbury, Manchester, M20 2PQ. West Didsbury is an affluent suburb of South Manchester, offering a vibrant area that balances a cosmopolitan yet village atmosphere. Our school is perfectly situated with easy access to bus and tram routes to Manchester city centre.
We are a relatively small school of approximately 270 students. Alongside our partner schools, KD Grammar School for Boys and Manchester Muslim Preparatory School, we form part of the highly successful Manchester Islamic Educational Trust. We are proud to have been rated Outstanding in our last three Ofsted inspections and have met all standards for Independent School Inspectorate.

At the shortlisting stage candidates will be required to complete a self‑declaration form regarding their criminal record (unless ‘protected’) and will also be required to submit any information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. Any such information will be treated in strictest confidence and used only in consideration of the suitability of the post. Criminal convictions will not automatically exclude you from being considered unless they fall within the threshold of being relevant and unsuitability, and will be considered on a case by case basis or as defined by the Department for Education.
