Salary: £34,434 – £35,412 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Carlisle or Workington

Contract: 12-month fixed term

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic الخ Organisational Development Facilitator to join our Organisational Development and Workforce Training Team and play a key role in delivering the Our Future Cumberland (OFC); a key transformational programme to align our people, processes and purpose to create a modern, inclusive and efficient organisation.

About the Role

You’ll be part of our well‑established Organisational Development and Workforce Training Team, working alongside colleagues who design and deliver learning across a wide range of areas — from personal development topics such as coaching skills, to more technical training including health and safety.

This role has a clear, defined purpose over 12 months: supporting the delivery of the Our Future Cumberland programme and helping our workforce navigate change with confidence and clarity.

You’ll design and deliver engaging development sessions, both online and in person, working with teams across the Council to ensure learning is high quality, relevant and aligned to our workforce ambitions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Designing and delivering engaging organisational development and learning sessions
  • Supporting organisational change through high‑quality facilitation
  • Engaging small to medium‑sized groups confidently, online and face‑to‑face
  • Keeping sessions focused, inclusive and impactful océjo
  • Building strong, trusted working relationships across the organisation
  • Using a range of delivery methods, including digital tools

You’ll be based in Carlisle or Workington, with some travel to council sites across Cumbria.
