Overview

In-life Operations Oracle DBA Professional - 6 Months - Daily pay rate £340 - Location - Sheffield - IR35 - Inside

Responsibilities
  • Incident handling and change implementation in Oracle Database and SQL Server environments within Enterprise Cloud Services Infrastructure.
  • Provide effective technical support to meet customer KPIs and SLAs.
  • Use and promote CI methodology as a standard operating tool to identify waste and drive improvements, delivering to the company Values.
  • Support a core compute estate that includes thousands of databases and database servers, ranging from latest to legacy equipment, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience with Oracle DB and SQL Server in a production environment.
  • Proven incident management and change control capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and continuous improvement approaches.
  • Ability to work within a large, diverse technology estate and maintain service quality.
