Overview

Optometrist role at Vision Express. You’ll work with world class technology including automated refraction, non-contact tonometry, automated keratometry, fundus camera, visual field analyser, OCT and automated phoropters.

Responsibilities

• Test patients’ eyes and eyesight while providing specialist recommendations on appropriate eyecare or eyewear solutions.
• Communicate effectively to translate professional terminology into language understandable to patients.
• Collaborate with the store team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing patients eyes and providing specialist recommendations on eyecare or eyewear solutions.
• Great communication and rapport building to translate professional terminology for patients.
• Team work with colleagues across the whole store team.
• The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment.
